I have just returned from Stephen’s High Days and Holy Days workshop (Nov. 26th 2011). This is the first time I have done a workshop at Stephen’s and it was one of the best days I have spent for many years. Stephen is the most superb teacher, very patient, knows how to get the best out of each voice and gives excellent advice on further practise. I, personally, learnt a lot on the course from Stephen and also from listening to the other singers. Coupled with the excellent teaching was Melinda’s gorgeous home cooking which was so tasty that I could have eaten all day long. Both Stephen and Melinda are lovely people and both worked so hard and made the day an enormous success. I really cannot wait for the next course. I have come home from the course on a real high and am determined to work much harder to improve my singing.
